Our Beachwalk villa is situated in Fort Myers, on Florida’s beautiful Gulf coast. Fort Myers is known as the City of palms and was made famous by its former residents Henry Ford and Thomas Edison. No doubt they were impressed by both the tropical climate of the area and its natural beauty

Our Beachwalk villa is situated in Beachwalk Isles which is a beautiful landscaped gated community midway between the historic district of downtown Fort Myers and the magnificent white sandy beaches of Fort Myers Beach. The magical islands of Sanibel and Captiva are equally close.

Downtown Fort Myers standing on the Caloosahatchee River has a fascinating history and contains the winter homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. The white sandy beaches of Fort Myers with its water sports, deep sea fishing, huge variety of restaurants and bars and the islands of Sanibel and Captiva are a short drive away.

There are numerous golf courses in the area, several of whom can be seen in the satellite picture of the map link here.

The upmarket facilities of Naples are within easy reach and there are two bargain outlet shopping malls on the doorstep plus a whole range of other shops to suit all tastes and budgets.

There are many National and State reserves and parks nearby with their varied landscapes and extensive animal and bird life.
